How Do Disposable Vapes Work? Hardware Explained for Buyers

A disposable vape works by draw activation. Air pulled through the mouthpiece trips a pressure sensor, the sensor closes the circuit between the battery and an element sitting in the sealed reservoir, and the element heats oil into vapor for the length of the inhale. Release the draw and the circuit opens again. No button, no filling, no assembly.

The chain of events in one draw

Every sealed device on your wall runs the same loop. Knowing it in order is what makes counter troubleshooting fast instead of guesswork.

  • Inhale. Negative pressure builds in the airflow channel.
